Private Group Pottery Workshop Bookings - Information only

Is there a group of you who would like to take part in a pottery workshop together?

Or fancy doing something different for a birthday, hen do, baby shower or for a company away day and team building activity you may have coming up?

Then I can offer a bespoke workshop package for groups of 2 (minimum) up to groups of 8 (maximum) that would take place in my studio at Middleport Pottery. 

For larger groups above 8 and up to 20 people (maximum) I can hire out one of Middleport's function rooms and can build a package that includes tea, coffee, biscuits, a cream tea, lunch or afternoon tea provided by the cafe, subject to availability. Please note if including any of these, prices will differ per person to what is advertised below.  

The types of workshops you could do are:

-Hand building a porcelain hanging planter pocket £40pp 

-Stem Vase or Planter Pot Decorating £40pp

-Making and Decorating Porcelain Coasters and/or Trinket Dishes £40pp

-Making and Decorating Porcelain Decorations £40pp

-Slip Casting & Decorating (max number 5 people, this is a full day workshop - £85pp)

-Slip Casting taster session £44pp - (max number 5 people, 3hr workshop)

-Tealight Holder Decorating £32pp -1.5hrs

If you have a particular idea in mind that you would like to do then please feel free to put it forward to me and I will accommodate where possible.

These workshops normally last 2 – 2.5hrs long

Costs listed above next to each type of workshop for groups of up to 20

(Prices include all materials and firings)

Gift vouchers are available if buying a workshop experience for a present

Workshop sessions can be shorter (1.5 hour minimum) or longer (up to 6 hours) and prices will adjust accordingly

I run workshops Tuesday – Saturday from 10am – 4pm

FAQs

- Your pieces will be fired after the workshop and will be ready to collect from my studio 2-3 weeks following the workshop. I can post them out to you at an additional cost to cover P&P

- Aprons will be provided but wear old clothes and shoes

If you have any particular designs, patterns and objects for inspiration that you want to work from please bring them along.

T’s & C’s

-If for any reason you need to cancel your booking then this needs to be done at least 14 days prior to the start of the workshop and a full refund will be given. Unfortunately any cancellations made within 14 days prior to the workshop start date are unable to be refunded.

-If the workshop has to be cancelled due to illness then you will be offered the option to reschedule the workshop subject to my availability. 

-Please note that any items made during my workshops are for personal use only or may be gifted to friends and family. Items created in my workshops must not be made for resale.

All ideas, designs, and workshop content remain my intellectual property. You may not go into business producing copies of my work, nor may you run workshops or teach others using these ideas or designs.

You are very welcome to use all ideas and techniques learned for personal use within your own creative hobbies.
