Porcelain Christmas Decoration & Garland Workshop

Spend an enjoyable and relaxing couple of hours in my studio at Middleport Pottery, Stoke-on-Trent for a festive and creative workshop making and decorating your own set of porcelain Christmas decorations or garland.

You’ll have the opportunity to make up to 10 porcelain decorations (that can be used to make up a garland) using a variety of different Christmas themed templates and cutters provided. You will be shown how to decorate them with coloured slips, textures and letters to add your own personal touch.

- Saturday 14th November, 2pm -4pm

- Saturday 21st November, 2pm -4pm

- Saturday 28th November, 2pm -4pm

- Sunday 29th November, 2pm -4pm

- Saturday 5th December, 2pm -4pm

- Sunday 6th December, 2pm -4pm

Cost: £45 per person

Including all materials and firing

Can’t make the date advertised but would like to do the workshop? then don’t hesitate to get in touch as I can arrange to do this workshop with yourself and a small group of you on a date that suits (2 minimum - 7 maximum) that would take place in my studio. - Subject to availability.  

FAQs

Your pieces will be fired after the workshop and will be ready to collect from my studio at Middleport Pottery 2 weeks following the workshop. I can post them out to you at an additional cost to cover P&P.

All abilities welcome and you do not need to have prior knowledge and experience in ceramics. With keeping it to a small group, you will each get one on one support and guidance throughout the workshop.

- Tea’s, Coffee’s and refreshments will be provided throughout the workshop.

- Aprons will be provided but wear old clothes and shoes

Unfortunately If you need to cancel your booking a refund can not be given but you can transfer your booking to another person/s. Please just let me know. 

-Please note that any items made during my workshops are for personal use only or may be gifted to friends and family. Items created in my workshops must not be made for resale.

All ideas, designs, and workshop content remain my intellectual property. You may not go into business producing copies of my work, nor may you run workshops or teach others using these ideas or designs.

You are very welcome to use all ideas and techniques learned for personal use within your own creative hobbies.
